Many of our economically disadvantaged inner city children consistently attend church with their families and participate in the worship services and activities associated with the celebration of Easter. Some of the children will beg their parents to let them stay at home. Because they know, all to well that their peers (some, of whom seldom attend church) will appear Easter Sunday all adorned in their new apparel. This only serves as another piercing blow to the parents image of themselves as providers and to their childrens esteem and well-being. The Easter campaign seeks to help many deserving urban families realize their dreams of celebrating Easter and its true promise, A New Life A New Beginning.
